Becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable

I’m very sensitive during my moon days, and lately I’ve struggled to keep up my work and routines during these days. I kept pushing through and tried to keep up with the things I felt I had to do. I was tired and annoyed with how I felt. I couldn’t see that what I was going through could be a blessing. Yesterday it changed…

I learned that I could use my sensitivity during moon days to channel, heal and be closer to source by being present to my emotions, becoming comfortable with the discomfortable, and allowing whatever was there to just BE before putting a label on it.

In stead of pushing through I sat down in a quiet place and connected with my body. I listened deeply and allowed myself to feel what my body wanted to reveal to me. I felt a certain panic, a fear that I could not understand, and I felt vulnerable, wrongly treated and wounded. My heart was clouded and closed and I asked out loud, ‘Please help me release?’

– What’s the pointer? was the immediate answer coming through.

I felt a strong uncomfortable feeling in my gut, and heard my higher mind say;

– There is nothing you can DO. The part that wants to DO something is your mind. There is nothing to do. Stay present, DO nothing – allow. For once, can you do nothing and only allow, relax and trust?

I went deep into the sensation in my gut, and stayed present to the pain without trying to do anything about it. It was intense and quickly the mind wanted to create a story behind what it was. But I didn’t let it, and instead I stayed with the physical sensations, being fully present without the mind’s interpretation of good and bad. Then something beautiful happened.

Suddenly it was as if the pain was gone! It was as if I moved through it and came out on the other side of pain, and I discovered what the real pointer was…it was LOVE.

It was life energy wanting to move through me, pressing on the emotional wound held in my stomach, keeping it stuck. I felt it and interpreted it as something bad, but the pointer was just love in disguise. What a beautiful realisation. Am I resisting Life I thought? Is it the resistance that makes it painful?

The message I received now was:

That tension and pain you feel in your body comes from believing that there is something wrong, something that needs to be fixed and that you need to do something to make it better.

Be present. Be silent. Be with it. Then you will see that the discomfort can be a great gift calling you to the present moment and see what is true. There is great strength in you. There is love in you.

In the aftermath of this “conversation” with my higher self/mind I was grateful for the complex emotions and the emotional discomfort. The strong sensations disrupted the doing and brought me back to truth, forcing me to stop rushing from one place to the other… what a blessing!
